Description

Water Inlet Assembly WH41X10077 / AP3189243.

This water inlet assembly is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is used in washing machines to direct the water flow to the washing machine tub when in operation. This assembly is connected to its water source and solenoid switches. The solenoid switches act as the gatekeeper for the water flow and tell the inlet assembly when to open up and allow water to fill the tub. If the water inlet assembly is not functioning correctly, the washing machine will not get enough water, and clothes may not be as clean as they should be. If the washing machine is leaking, this could be the source. If it is leaking or not filling the machine correctly, it should be replaced.Pull the washing machine out so that the back panel is accessible. To start, disconnect the water power. Locate the inlet valve assembly and disconnect the wires to the solenoid. To start, disconnect the assembly from its water source. Remove it and install the new water inlet. Reassemble the machine and reconnect the water and power. This water inlet assembly is a plastic part that is sold individually. It is designed for use in washing machines manufactured by General Electric and Hotpoint.
