This is a genuine OEM replacement water inlet valve sourced directly from the manufacturer and is intended for use in washing machines. The inlet valve connects the hot and cold water hoses to the washing machine and controls the flow of both into the washing machine. If there is a problem with the valve, the water flow will be disrupted, and the machine’s efficiency will be affected. Any disruption to the flow can result in either less water than is needed for the laundry or no water at all. Water flow is determined by electrical signals sent by the machine. These signals tell the valves to open or close. If the solenoid is malfunctioning, the signals won’t work, and the water may not flow. If the valves have a leak or a clogged filter, the flow may be diminished, and the water will not flow to the proper level. These issues can be resolved by replacing the water inlet valve.
