Description

Tub Gasket WD08X10018 / AP3425307.

This is a genuine OEM replacement tub gasket sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in dishwashers. The tub gasket is a seal that fits around the inside of the dishwasher door to prevent leaks when the dishwasher is being used. Regular use may cause the gasket to become loose or stretch due to heat. If this happens, the dishwasher can leak water around the door. Over time, if the dishwasher is not cleaned, mildew and debris may build up around the gasket preventing it from sealing correctly. This can lead to leaking water. If the door of the dishwasher is leaking, this part should be replaced. No tools are required for this job. Disconnect the power source before working on the dishwasher. Open the door to the dishwasher. Remove the worn tub gasket and clean the gasket channel before installing the new gasket. Locate the mark on the new gasket that indicates the starting point. Press the gasket firmly into the channel with the large part of the gasket facing outward. Firmly press all the way around to seat the gasket. Close the door and reconnect the power. Run the dishwasher to check the seal. This gasket is made of black rubber and sold individually. The gasket is designed for use in dishwashers manufactured by General Electric and Hotpoint.

Genuine GE part. GE brands include General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, and others. See all items in Dishwasher Gasket Or Seal.
