This is a right side track, and it is intended for use on dishwashers. This is a genuine replacement part made by Whirlpool. This track allows the upper dishwasher rack to easily be slid in and out so that the user can load and unload the dishwasher with ease. The rack should be able to move smoothly in and out. This part also allows the rack to stay in place during the washing cycle so that the dishes are kept safe.A new right track might be needed if the rack is sliding in and out unevenly and even bouncing as it is being slid. It possible that the ball bearing can become stripped overtime, and this part might need replacing after years of normal wear and tear.
