This toeplate is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on dishwashers. It is found on the bottom front panel and is used to hide the gap between the toe stop and the rest of the machine. This is a largely cosmetic component, but without it, dirt and other objects can get underneath the dishwasher. If the toeplate is missing small pets could get under the washer and possibly damage wiring and other machine parts. If the toeplate becomes damaged, remove it and replace it as soon as possible.Pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet enough to access the front and sides. Unscrew the damaged toeplate and set the screws aside. Clean the area before installing the new toeplate to ensure the new plate lines up correctly. Line the new toeplate up with the holes on the dishwasher and install the screws. Tighten but don’t overtighten or the screws might strip. Push the dishwasher back into place.This toeplate is a black metal part that is sold individually. It is designed for use on dishwashers made by Frigidaire, Kenmore, Crosley, and Gibson.
