This small surface burner is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in gas stoves. These burners attach to the gas valve and supply the flame that cooks on a gas stove. The burners are covered by a metal burner cap and then by an iron or metal burner cover. Over time, food spills and normal use may cause the surface burner to become rusty and should be replaced. Unplug the power source to the stove. Make sure the burners are not hot. Lift the metal cooking grate or cover off the burner and set it aside. Lift the metal burner cap off and set it aside. Take the surface burner off – no tools are necessary – it lifts up and off. Line the notch up on the new burner cover with the ignitor where the old burner was removed. Set the surface burner down over the hole. Place the burner cap on the surface burner and replace the burner grate. Reconnect the power source.This small surface burner is made of heavy-duty heat-tempered metal and is sold individually.
