This OEM replacement part is a digitron for microwaves. The digitron is the control board that is responsible for powering the digital display of the microwave. If the digital display of the microwave is no longer visible, then the digitron will need to be replaced. To replace this part, make sure the microwave is unplugged. Then proceed to open the microwave door. Untread the screws of the control panel and pull the panel out of its place. Locate the digitron control board and snap it out of its mounting brackets. Place the new part in its correct position and make sure it is securely attached to the microwave. Reinstall the control panel. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand appliances.
