This crisper cover is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in refrigerators. This is the double frame over the crisper drawers that supports the glass inserts covering the drawers. Over time, the frame may warp or break due to normal use and should be replaced. Without the crisper cover, the glass inserts will not have a frame to sit on, and the contents of the drawers will be exposed, causing the contents to spoil quicker.The crisper cover covers both drawers and has the humidity control levers for each drawer on the front. To replace, remove the glass inserts and set them aside. Remove the drawers from the frame and set them aside. Lift the broken frame off of the support rails and remove it from the refrigerator. Insert the new frame on the rails. Slide the drawers into the glides on each side of the frame. Place the glass inserts back on top in the grooves. This crisper cover is made of white molded plastic and is sold as an individual part. The glass inserts are not included. The crisper cover is designed for use in refrigerators manufactured by LG and Kenmore.
